The story of Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos begins in 1995 when the renowned architectural firm of Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo began concept and design work on a hacienda-style resort with villa accommodations, courtyards, fountains, and pathways, surrounded by a verdant garden. In keeping with authentic hacienda style, the resort features a central building that acts as its focal point, with 32 villas spreading radiating from it; each villa boasts its own unique architectural beauty. The result is an all-inclusive resort showcasing a captivating combination of traditional Mexican Colonial elements and stylish Mediterranean touches.

Los Cabos Children’s Foundation
The Los Cabos Children's Foundation (LCCF) main goal is to fund programs that provide medical assistance for children in the state of Baja California Sur who are suffering from cancer, heart defects and other serious illnesses. To give back to this beautiful community of Los Cabos, Hacienda del Mar Los Cabos Resort has joined LCCF in changing the world, one child at a time, not only as a corporate donor but also including their guests in the amazing experience of giving children a better quality of life.
During your stay, $1 US Dollar per day will be included on your total bill, which will go directly to helping these wonderful children. We sincerely thank you for your generosity!

National Program for the Protection of the Sea Turtle
Since 2001 and for the last 20 years, the commitment and participation of Hacienda del Mar in the National Program for the Protection of the Sea Turtle has contributed significantly to save several species from extinction in Baja California Sur. During this period, a total of 600 hotel employees have received professional training to help preserve sea turtles. Approximately 15,000 turtles have been released from the resort beach. Many of those little fellows will return to our shore and lay their eggs, just like their mothers did, giving continuity to the magic of mother nature.
